Before entering HR consulting firm, Edward had 11 years corporate Human Resources Management experience in a variety of industries - Chemical, IT, FMCG and Life Science as Talent Acquisition Leaders and Head of HR.
In 2013, he moved his career path to the 3rd party HR Consulting industry, started as a Managing Consultant to lead a team to provide executive search and contingency recruitment services to clients in retail & luxury sector. As an individual consultant, he had placed many top executive level positions including CEO/GM level, and C-Suite roles (CMO, Head of Merchandising, Head of Retail/Wholesales, Head of E-commerce/Digital, Head of Strategic Planning), broken the sales revenue record individually after joining the company 1.5 years. His focus was shifted to bigger team management and more industries coverage - Consumer, Internet, Corporate IT, PR/Marketing, to made another milestone in terms of the team total contribution to the company.
After 3 years service at that US consulting firm, he moved out to help one local new started up recruitment firm to set up retail and consumer practice from zero, to hit total 32 consultants in the team before he stepping out to start up Jesper Consulting in October 2017.
